New doc on Hip-hop about debunking clichés

French filmmakers Maxime Giffard and Felix Teissier have created a new documentary film West Coast Theory, produced by Avalanche Productions. The doc will follow rappers and hip-hop artists who don't always rely on computer-generated sounds and methods and who use traditional instruments like guitars and pianos to create their music. The doc features the likes of Xzibit, Will I Am and Snoop Dogg, showcasing their personal approaches to hip-hop.
