OWN picks up ‘Anna and Kristina’s Grocery Bag’

The Oprah Winfrey Network has acquired its first Canadian series from Picture Box Distribution, the lifestyle series Anna and Kristina's Grocery Bag. Produced by Worldwide Bag Media Inc. in association with W Network, Grocery Bag follows hosts Anna Wallner and Kristina Matisic as they try out popular cookbooks. The series is set to air on OWN's daytime block beginning January 3, 2011. Picture Box has also sold the series to MTV Finland, Vivolta in France, Canal + in Poland, Beep Omnimedia in Italy, LiTV in Asia, TV Paprika in Hungary, and MGM in Latin America.
