G100 International: Beyond Productions

Beyond Productions (Sydney, Australia)

Compared to so many other companies out there, Beyond Productions seems like it’s been around forever. Launched in 1985 to produce the science and technology program Beyond 2000, the prodco has fulfilled that promise and more. Not only has the company made it to the new millennium and beyond, it has quietly grown a huge catalog and produces some of the backbone programming of doco channels worldwide. It would be difficult to find a territory in which the MythBusters don’t ply their trade, for example. That franchise recently celebrated its 100th episode, and although widely imitated now, does not appear to have lost any of its quirky steam.
