Recently launched UK-based Studio Lambert has just announced the opening of a new US division, led by Eli Holzman from Miramax who helped create Bravo’s hit Project Runway.

Stephen Lambert, RDF’s former creative chief, started up his own prodco under All3Media in March of this year and when realscreen spoke to him earlier this year, plans were already underway to start up a US division.

And the time is now for Holzman to head the US division. US production heavyweight Holzman had a hand in the creation of Miramax Television, as head and co-founder. Other titles he has helped create are Beauty and the Geek for Ashton Kutcher’s Katalyst Films, and upcoming Stylista for CW, Art Meets World for Bravo and more.

The new US division will be located in Los Angeles, and along with Holzman, another new hire, producer Annie Meek, will come on board. Her past experiences include The Mole, Newlyweds and The Osbournes. She will take on the role of executive in charge of production.
