Project Runway stalled by ruling

A preliminary injunction was ordered against the Weinstein Co. by the New York Supreme Court, stopping the company from taking Project Runway to Lifetime. NBC Universal filed the lawsuit against the Weinstein Co. when it made a reported $150 million deal with Lifetime to take the show. Weinstein Co. intends to appeal the decision and the parties will return to court on October 15.
