HBO co-president Harold Akselrad is leaving the company after 25 years. In charge of the network's legal, business affairs, technology and film acquisition groups, Akselrad leaves the company after concluding numerous deals with theatrical studios, including Dreamworks, Universal, and Fox, that will secure the flow of Hollywood films.
