Metan Development Group is launched for Chinese market

Former News Corporation exec Martin Pompadur, E! Entertainment Television co-founder Larry Namer and Amerilink founder Jean Zhang have banded together on a venture to create and distribute entertainment content and media specifically for the Chinese market. Metan Development Group's first project, debuting in late 2009, is Hollywood Today, a daily 15-minute entertainment news program featuring two anchors reporting from Metan's Beijing studios and Chinese speaking field reporters in the US.
