CBS and ABC vie for driver’s seat in stunt-car reality show rivalry

Both CBS and ABC are producing reality shows based on extreme car driving feats. Each show features cars and their drivers racing through challenging obstacle courses, but there may be room for the two shows to distinguish themselves from one another. ABC's Crash Course will reportedly focus on the drivers and passengers themselves while advance press for CBS' Thunder Road seems to focus on the challenges posed by the race. Both series are being compared to another obstacle course-oriented reality show, ABC's summer hit Wipeout.
