Adam Kemp, the BBC's commissioning editor for arts, music, performance and religion, has announced he is leaving the BBC. Kemp, who joined the BBC as the factual independent commissioning executive in 1994, has held his current position since 2005. As BBC Knowledge restructures, factual commissioners are required to apply for the new commissioning roles, and Kemp has decided not to apply.
