Canada’s CTV makes more cuts

CTV announced Tuesday it is eliminating 24 jobs from its morning show Canada AM and is also canceling the Montreal morning program First News. This follows the 118 jobs CTV cut last week at its A-branded channels. In a release CTV states the latest move is the 'latest in ongoing efforts by CTV to maximize efficiencies in the face of today's economic reality.'
