NHK World TV to launch on Freesat

NHK World TV, NHK's English news channel, is due to launch through UK satellite broadcaster Freesat on April 21, 2009. The Japanese and Asia focused news and information channel currently transmits to various countries through satellite and cable, including the UK where it is already available through BSkyB. Freesat will be the second provider of NHK World TV in the UK.

NHK World TV, NHK’s English news channel, is due to launch through UK satellite broadcaster Freesat on April 21, 2009. The Japanese and Asia focused news and information channel currently transmits to various countries through satellite and cable, including the UK where it is already available through BSkyB. Freesat will be the second provider of NHK World TV in the UK.
