October Films sponsors film fest & gives out paid internship

UK prodco October Films will sponsor the Imperial War Museum's annual film festival for student and amateur filmmakers in London. In particular, October will sponsor the Annie Dodds Award for Best Documentary, which is named in honor of Dodds, a founder of October who died in 2005. The prodco will also offer one of the winning student filmmakers a paid internship at their office in London and will offer advice and assistance to young people interested in doc-making as part of the Imperial War Museum's Student Documentary Masterclass. October joins the roster of sponsors which includes History and Blue Digital Services. Films must use footage from the museum's archive to qualify for the festival.
