Shine Group has announced it will open a division in France which will be headed-up by former Endemol exec Thierry Lachkar. The new division is due to open in July. The move for the UK-based company follows the recent acquisition of Metronome Film & Television as well as the opening of divisions of Shine in Germany and Australia. Prior to joining Shine, Lachkar was chairman of Mark Burnett Productions France and was a senior executive at Endemol France.
