‘Passage’ gets Best Canadian prize at Banff

Passage, the acclaimed documentary copro from PTV Productions and John Walker Productions in association with the National Film Board, claimed the Playback Best Canadian prize at the Banff 2009 World Television Festival Grand Prize Awards on Monday night. The ceremony, hosted by ET Canada's Rick Campenelli, also saw Channel 4's The Curse of the Mona Lisa, produced by Oxford Film & Television, take Best Documentary honors. Family Restaurant: The Quons, produced by Anaid Productions for Food Network Canada, was awarded the Best Entertainment Grand Prize.
