China demands film be dropped from Melbourne Film Festival

The Cultural Attache at China's Consulate in Melbourne has demanded that a documentary about Rebiya Kadeer, a Chinese Uighur Muslim activist, be withdrawn from the Melbourne Film Festival. Kadeer is also scheduled to attend the festival and speak about the film, 10 Conditions of Love.

The Cultural Attache at China’s Consulate in Melbourne has demanded that a documentary about Rebiya Kadeer, a Chinese Uighur Muslim activist, be withdrawn from the Melbourne Film Festival. Kadeer is also scheduled to attend the festival and speak about the film, 10 Conditions of Love.
