Gecan moves from HGTV to HGTV

Scripps Networks channel, HGTV, has hired HGTV Canada VP of content, Anna Gecan, to oversee original programming. In her new role, Gecan will help bridge the gap between her last home and her new one by developing pilots for copros between HGTV and HGTV Canada. Before joining HGTV Canada in 2006, Gecan was a production executive at Food Network Canada and has also worked as a news producer at the CBC.
