AFI announces line-up for its Latin American film fest

The American Film Institute (AFI) has announced the line-up for its Latin American Film Festival, taking place from September 23 to October 12 at the AFI Silver Theatre in Silver Spring, Maryland. among the films being featured are Beyond Ipanema: Brazilian Waves in Global Music, which will be this year's Centerpiece Presentation, and selected episodes of the PBS miniseries Latin Music USA, which will be shown as free community screenings.
