GRB acquires international distrib rights for PBS newsmagazine series

GRB Entertainment has announced that it's acquired the international distribution rights for PBS newsmagazine program NOW on PBS. The series, which has aired in the U.S. for seven years, is produced in the U.S. by JumpStart Productions in association with Thirteen/WNET New York and features doc-style investigative journalism on global issues and current events, winning the 2009 Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Television Political Coverage. 'As this high-caliber series has certainly proven itself to be a success in the US, we expect it to be equally if not more successful with viewers abroad,' said GRB founder Gary Benz.
