Lisa Mao promoted to vice president of development at Hoff

Lisa Mao has been promoted to VP of development at San Francisco-based non-fiction prodco Hoff Productions. In her new role, which she moves into from her previous position as development executive at the prodco, Mao will oversee the operations of the development team and help direct the company's positioning strategy. Since joining Hoff Productions in 2005, Mao has helped to develop over 100 hours of programming for networks such as WEtv, Animal Planet, TLC, Fine Living and Discovery Channel.
