TLC launches lawsuit against Jon Gosselin

Yet another plot twist in the real-life soap opera that is estranged couple Jon & Kate Gosselin. TLC filed a lawsuit against Jon Gosselin, of Jon & Kate Plus 8 fame, alleging breach of contract. The network alleges that Gosselin has not met his obligations as an exclusive employee of TLC, has appeared on other programs on rival networks for pay and has made unauthorized statements regarding the show. 'The network has been trying privately and patiently for months to get Jon to honor the contract he signed and to comply with his obligations relating to public appearances and statements,' said TLC in a statement. 'Those efforts have been unsuccessful. The Washington, DC law firm of Williams & Connolly LLP has been retained to represent the network in the litigation.'
