NFB films take home two prizes at Planet in Focus fest

Two films from the National Film Board of Canada took top Canadian honors at the closing ceremonies of the Planet in Focus International Environmental Film & Video Festival in Toronto. Earth Keepers, directed by Sylvie Van Brabant and featuring environmentalist Mikael Rioux, took the prize for best Canadian long-form film, while This Land, directed by filmmaker/photographer/journalist Dianne Whelan, received the nod for best Canadian short-form film.
