Shed Media Scotland appoints head of factual

Ed Levan, currently head of development for UK-based prodco Ricochet, has been appointed as head of factual for Shed Media Scotland. He will be tasked with spearheading a new production department for Shed's Scottish office. 'This is a massive challenge for me and as such I am hugely excited by the prospect,' said Levan. 'Scotland represents a sizable opportunity in terms of factual commissioning and as such Shed Media Scotland will be poised at the center of an incredibly positive collision of editorial and economic opportunity.' Ricochet, part of the Shed Media Group, hired Levan six years ago. He's been head of development for the company for the past year, and past credits include developing and casting Supernanny, and producing/directing the recent Blood, Sweat and T-Shirts.
