In a surprising turn of events, Chris Coelen, CEO of RDF USA, has announced his departure from the company after four years. The news was broken internally at RDF USA on Thursday. Reports from various media sources are saying the exec and RDF group chief executive David Frank came to the decision by ‘mutual agreement,’ while other reports are speculating that Coelen and his superiors could not come to agreement on terms of a new contract. There is no word at present regarding Coelen’s plans. The shocking move comes just after the announcement that ITV Studios fact ent head Natalka Znak was leaving the UK to take up an exec VP post at RDF USA. Thus far, no comment has emerged from RDF.
