RealD partners with Panasonic and Toshiba

Both Panasonic and Toshiba have announced partnerships with 3D technology creators RealD to bring high quality stereoscopic 3D to home viewers. Panasonic and RealD have partnered so that consumers who purchase Panasonic's Full HD 3D VIERA TVs also get RealD's Active Shutter Glass Technology and 3D content. Additionally Toshiba and RealD will cooperate in bringing 3D technology to Toshiba TVs. As Toshiba advances development of REGZA TVs able to deliver HD quality 3D content, RealD will provide support. The companies will also work on technology for active eyewear for Toshiba 3D-enabled displays.
