MacGillivray Freeman adds senior director for business development

Laguna Beach-based producer and distributor of giant screen films, MacGillivray Freeman Films, today announced the appointment of Craig Thompson to the newly created position of senior director for business development. Thompson comes to the role with 25 years experience working in sponsorships which, for the past two decades, included working in Europe where he developed sponsorship, marketing and licensing deals in sports. In his new role Thompson will be responsible for finding strategic partners for the company's giant screen productions, particularly the company's slate of upcoming 3D giant screen films To The Arctic, Humpback Whales and Everest: Conquering Thin Air.
