BBC America appoints John Taite to VP multiplatform programming

BBC Worldwide Channels has announced an appointment to its flagship channel, BBC America. John Taite, formerly BBC Worldwide's VP programming, EMEA, has been named VP multiplatform Programming. Taite takes on his new role in April and will report to BBC America's COO, Chris Carr, and Richard De Croce, SVP programming. He will be responsible for developing BBC Worldwide's editorial strategy in the U.S. on branded digital platforms, future genre channel launches and other programming initiatives.
