Mark McInnis has been promoted at MTV and Much Music, moving up to VP of production at the CTV division on Thursday. The new job sees McInnis’ role expanded to oversee production and development for the eight channels in the Much MTV Group, including MuchMusic, MTV, MTV2 and the digital Much channels. He is credited with many of MTV’s recent successes, including The Hills After Show and the doc series Peak Season, which sold to VH1 in the U.S. Also at Much MTV, Brook Peters has come on board as director of programming. Starting June 1, he will handle scheduling, negotiation and acquisitions for the eight channels. Peters was previously manager of programming for both the English and French versions of Teletoon and Teletoon Retro.
