Michael Klein, most recently senior vice president of content at Travel Channel, has joined Sundance Channel as senior vice president, original programming and development, effective immediately. Klein will be tasked with overseeing Sundance Channel’s programming, including serving as executive in charge of production for all network-produced programming. Based in the network’s New York office, he’ll also oversee its original programming development, including features, series, and documentaries. ‘As Sundance Channel enters into a new era of original programming, Michael brings new energy and creativity that I am confident will resonate with viewers and excite the television industry,’ said Sarah Barnett, executive vice president and general manager, Sundance Channel.
