UKTV and Channel 4 reach 10-year ad sales deal

UKTV and Channel 4 have come to an agreement which will see Channel 4 Sales become the exclusive advertising representative for UKTV.

UKTV and Channel 4 have come to an agreement which will see Channel 4 Sales become the exclusive advertising representative for UKTV. Under the 10-year agreement, Channel 4 Sales will be UKTV’s sole ad sales agent across its portfolio which includes 10 linear channels, as well as VOD services and websites. UKTV’s portfolio, which reaches over 37 million people per month, includes four of the top 10 pay entertainment channels and some of the UK’s leading lifestyle and factual channels. The deal applies to all inventory from January 1, 2011 and was negotiated by Channel 4′s commercial & corporate development director, Nathalie Schwarz and UKTV’s executive director, business operations, Julia Jordan who adds: ‘Channel 4… understands how to deliver innovative and creative campaigns to mass and niche audiences; this will ensure UKTV continues its track record in building market share in both the linear and non-linear advertising markets.’
