Directors Guild of Canada award nominees announced

The Directors Guild of Canada will be having its ninth annual awards and has recently announced the nominees for the awards. Hosted by comedian Dave Foley, the awards will be given out at a gala on September 25 in Toronto. In the non-fiction category, the Allan King Award for Excellence in a Documentary, the nominees are Ballet High, directed by Elise Swerhone; The Experimental Eskimos, directed by Barry Greenwald; Genius Within: The Inner Life of Glenn Gould, directed by Peter Raymont and Love Letters, directed by Tim Southam.
