Rush HD adds 3D to ‘Hell on Hooves’

Saskatoon-based Juxtapose Productions is partnering with Toronto-based DJWoods Productions to create a 3D episode for its Rush HD series Hell on Hooves. The series, which follows the bull riders and bull fighters of the Canadian Pro Rodeo Tour, will get the 3D treatment through DJWoods which will film a bull riding event in Strathmore, Alberta using two 3D crews to create a full-length 3D episode for the series. John Panikkar, CEO of Rush HD, says doing rodeo in 3D is a natural fit for his network. 'Hell on Hooves is a terrific and popular series that will look even more fantastic in 3D,' he said. The episode will debut in November, as will additional premiere 3D programs on other High Fidelity HDTV channels Oasis HD, Treasure HD and Equator HD.
