Endemol USA and NBA star Kobe Bryant are developing a multi-platform wish-fulfillment series that will be distributed globally. Billed as an ‘interactive entertainment experience’, Dream Makers: Kobe Bryant will premiere in the Philippines as eight webisodes and as a one-hour television series later this year and will roll out in other markets in 2011. The show takes place at the Kobe Bryant Basketball Academy, where Filipino kids will spend five days working with the NBA champ to learn basketball skills as well as how to apply the skills learned through sport to everyday life. Other digital series produced by Endemol include Married on MySpace 1 & 2, Coupon Mom and Vidas Cruzadas. Married on MySpace 1 was the first web series to spin off into a reality show, Elle & Tito: The Married Life.
