Fox Look has taken on the Australian hit program The Gruen Transfer, shopping the format internationally as The Big Sell. The program brings together top creatives from the advertising industry to discuss the best and the worst of the ad world. The original program, coproduced by Zapruter’s other films and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, is in its third season and is a consistently strong ratings performer. ‘As an Australian working in the international TV business, I have been very aware of how well The Gruen Transfer has done in beating the opposition, season after season,’ said Fox Look president David Lyle. ‘A smart, witty, contemporary show that demonstrates such strength deserves to be an international hit. Just as Australia’s success with MasterChef. turned heads elsewhere, so The Big Sell should be Australia’s next big export success.’
