RuPaul, Chaz Bono on WOW’s MIPCOM roster

London-and-Los Angeles-based prodco World of Wonder (WOW) has unveiled the catalog of programs it's bringing to MIPCOM this year, distributed through Passion Distribution.

London-and-Los Angeles-based prodco World of Wonder (WOW) has unveiled the catalog of programs it’s bringing to MIPCOM this year. Through Passion Distribution, the company will internationally launch six new series, six returning series and a documentary that chronicles a year in the life of Chaz Bono. Celebrity drag queen RuPaul will attend the Cannes conference to launch her new makeover series Rupaul’s Drag U, produced for Logo in the U.S., as well as the third season of the popular RuPaul’s Drag Race. WOW will also launch a new season of Tori & Dean and a new spin-off format, Tori & Dean sTORIbook Weddings. Other new series include the 8×30-minute Dresscue Me @Shareen Vintage, about a vintage retailer to the stars, a florally-focused 8×60-minute Logo series called The Arrangement, the HGTV series Hometown Renovation and the 8×30-minute Sundance show Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys, billed as the ‘real’ Will & Grace. WOW is also bringing the two-hour documentary Chaz Bono: All That Chaz to MIPCOM. The film follows Cher’s son as he undergoes a female-to-male gender reassignment operation.
