Sky News and C4 win International Emmys for coverage of Taliban in Pakistan

The news and current affairs International Emmy Award winners have been announced by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and both have gone to UK coverage of the Taliban in Pakistan.

The news and current affairs International Emmy Award winners have been announced by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and both have gone to UK coverage of the Taliban in Pakistan. Sky News Pakistan – Terror’s Front Line won the news category for its presentation of exclusive coverage that revealed the Taliban are in control of a large part of Pakistan, while Dispatches – Pakistan’s Taliban Generation won the current affairs category. The Dispatches special was produced by October Film for Channel 4, and investigated the effect of the war on terror on children.
