Endemol announces gaming deal for The Money Drop

Global prodco Endemol Worldwide has announced a gaming deal for game show format The Money Drop. This fall the company will begin sell the format internationally with a built-in suite of digital games that can be customized depending on the market and made available via broadcaster websites and social networks. Applications for mobile devices such as iPhones and iPads are expected to follow. The news follows Endemol Worldwide Brands' recent deal with digital gaming specialist Visiware. The games will roll out via German broadcaster ZDF this fall. The Money Drop debuted on Channel 4 in the UK this past May and will launch on channels across Europe and the Middle East. The company has also shot a broadcast pilot for Fox in the US.
