Viv McGrath (pictured), former CEO of Gecko Productions and current EP for Darlow Smithson Productions, has been responsible for Animal Planet’s I Shouldn’t Be Alive and TLC’s Out of the Wreckage: Plane Crash Survivors. Here, she shares with realscreen some things people may not know about her.
1. I started off as an actress and my claim to fame was being in Prisoner: Cell Block H – the Aussie soap in which the prison sets were so cheap they wobbled, but was cult-viewing for Brits!
2. I once interviewed Kylie Minogue – she was tiny, professional and very down to earth.
3. I traveled around Asia with Bill Clinton and his White House entourage, including the ‘Men in Black’ (Secret Service), during my time as a foreign correspondent based in Hong Kong.
