Studio Lambert, the production company behind Undercover Boss and Fairy Jobmother, has announced a partnership with UK indie prodco betty (Freaky Eaters, the upcoming Channel 4 series Beauty and the Beast). Under the terms of the agreement, betty’s UK-created formats will be produced with Studio Lambert in America. ‘We are committed to bringing some of the most successful and daring formats in the U.K. to the States,’ said Studio Lambert CEO Stephen Lambert in a statement. ‘Liz [Warner, betty CEO] and her business partner, Walter Iuzzolino, are two of the most creative people working in British television right now and Eli and I look forward to working with them on producing their shows for American audiences.’
‘Our format business has really taken off in the last year,’ said Warner, ‘and we felt it was time to find the right U.S. partner… Partnering with [Stephen's] company was our first choice.’
