Organizers of Toronto’s Hot Docs documentary festival/conference have announced that submissions for the Hot Docs Forum (formerly the Toronto Documentary Forum) are now being accepted, up until the deadline of January 21, 2011. The Hot Docs Forum is a two-day, limited-seating pitching event that brings international projects at various levels of completion before a round table of commissioning editors, programming executives and Hot Docs delegates. Barry Walsh is editor and content director for realscreen, and has served as editor of the publication since 2009. With a career in entertainment media that spans two decades, prior to realscreen, he held the associate editor post for now defunct sister publication Boards, which focused on the advertising and commercial production industries.
