‘Marwencol’ wins best doc award at Whistler Film Festival

The 10th annual Whistler Film Festival has awarded Jeff Malmberg's film Marwencol with the best documentary award.

The 10th annual Whistler Film Festival has awarded Jeff Malmberg’s film Marwencol with the best documentary award. The award, which comes with a $2,500 cash prize, was recognized for ‘its intimate portrait of an artist who lives between fantasy and reality and whose miniaturized world magnifies our own,’ according to the jury.
