Buddy Valastro returns to TLC with two series

TLC has announced that season four of Cake Boss will return to the network on January 31, while the series star, Buddy Valastro, is also getting another series, Kitchen Boss, debuting on January 24. Kitchen Boss, with 40 half-hour episodes, is a new daytime cooking series with Valastro demonstrating traditional Italian recipes, with members of the Valastro family joining Buddy in the kitchen. TLC will air a sneak peak of Kitchen Boss during the finale of Valastro's competition show Next Great Baker, before it moves to its home of 5:30 on January 25. Cake Boss' fourth season will feature tasks like a toilet bowl cake that flushes. Really. Both series are produced by High Noon Entertainment.
