Objective Productions has tapped Paul Murray for the newly created role of head of Objective Scotland.
Formerly the creative director at STV content, Murray will be responsible for leading Objective Scotland’s development teams and will collaborate with the company’s other senior creatives.
The appointment is part of Objective Production’s strategy to grow Objective Scotland, which launched at the end of 2010.
Reporting directly to Objective CEO Andrew Newman, Murray starts at the prodco in July.
At STV, Murray headed up the development team, where he oversaw all of STV’s content. He also created Antiques Roadtrip for the BBC. Prior to STV, Murray was at Crackit Productions where he produced Piers Morgan’s The Dark Side of Fame, and spent three years as MD of Endemol Scotland.
“I’m delighted to be joining a really exciting company at such a time of growth,” said Murray. “I look forward to creating some great shows for Objective Scotland.”
