Shine International, the international sales and distribution arm of Shine Group, has sold seven of its formats to broadcasters throughout Central and Eastern Europe.

TET TV in Ukraine has commissioned local formats of Tough Love and Date My Mom, while the region’s New Channel has re-commissioned Identity. TNT Russia has re-commissioned the latter series for a 10th season, and a version of Style by Jury, to be produced by SF Productions, will also be heading to Russia.

Elsewhere, FTV Prima in the Czech Republic has re-commissioned Single Moms, and Poland’s Polsat has commissioned a second season of its top-rated Must Be the Music.

Shine International is also planning for additional launches of its MasterChef format in Romania and Ukraine for later this year.

“With the strength of the format market in the region, Central and Eastern Europe remains a key focus for Shine International in 2011,” said Lisa Higginson, manager of international distribution for Shine International.
