Pan-European distributor SevenOne International has picked up the rights to sell a new docuseries from Kinetic Content starring Pineapple Dance Studios choreographer Louie Spence.

The Louie Spence Dance Project (working title) follows the “choreographer to the stars” as he embarks upon a new challenge – revamping New York City’s Broadway Dance Center.

“Louie Spence is one of the most vivid characters we’ve ever seen,” said Chris Coelen, CEO of Kinetic Content. “He’s incredibly funny and passionate, and his charisma leaps off the screen.”

The distributor says the 6 x 60 minutes series is scheduled to premiere in the beginning of 2012 on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) in the U.S.

OWN first announced the series in April this year.
