Nordisk Film TV has been commissioned by Norwegian broadcaster TV2 to produce the talent search show The Voice Of…, marking the fourth local version in the Nordic region.

The Banijay Group-owned Nordisk Film TV will launch the TV2 version in Norway within the next six months, and will feature coaches including Magne ‘Mags’ Furuholmen from the 80′s pop group A-Ha.

Local teams are set to produce the Talpa-distributed format in Denmark for TV2, Sweden for TV4 and Finland for TV4 Nelonen, where the show is produced by Solar Television, a Nordisk Film TV affiliate.

The Danish version will launch first this fall and features a judging panel that includes Sharin Foo, lead singer of the Ravonettes; and Lene Nystron, lead singer of pop group Aqua. The Voice Of… is coproduced by Nordisk Film TV and Talpa, the format developer and distributor.

Jacob Houlind, Nordic CEO at Nordisk Film TV, said: “We are honored to announce that we have again been entrusted to produce this huge stand out format, The Voice of…, for Norway.”
