Dubai-based TPI Middle East has launched YallaTV, an Arabic language video-on-demand entertainment platform airing documentaries, shorts, features, animation and music videos.

Dubai-based TPI Middle East has launched YallaTV, an Arabic language video-on-demand entertainment platform airing documentaries, shorts, features, animation and music videos.

The factual content producer and distributor has already launched the free Internet-based service, available at www.yallatv.me, in beta version.

According to the company, the platform has been created for the Arab world to connect Arab filmmakers with their fans and each other.

The VOD platform will be introduced to the industry at My Content 2011 in the United Arab Emirates and at Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF).
