“Canada Sings” gets second season

The Global Television reality competition series, which turns work colleagues into singing and dancing groups and pits them against other companies, is currently accepting submissions for the new season.

Canada’s Shaw Media has announced that its Global Television singing competition show Canada Sings has been renewed for a second season.

The hour-long summer show, which turns work colleagues into singing and dancing groups and pits them against other companies is currently accepting submissions for the next season, which will air in 2012.

The series is produced for Global by Toronto-based Insight Productions.

More details on the second season of the show will be available in the New Year. The deadline for submitting audition tapes is Dec. 1, 2011.
