Irina Ignatiew (pictured), the former executive VP of international at German firm Telepool, is to become the regional sales director for German-speaking countries at Red Arrow Entertainment-owned distribution company SevenOne International.

She takes up her role on February 1, where she succeeds Bodo Braun and will report to Jens Richter, managing director of SevenOne International.

Aside from being responsible for distributing SevenOne International’s catalog in German-speaking countries, she will also be tasked with finding coproduction and co-financing partners for RedArrow productions as well as third party titles. Prior to joining Telepool, which she left last October, Ignatiew served as head of international distribution at Tandem Communications and sales manager for Lionsgate.

Richter said: “With more than 15 years of international sales experience and a lot of passion for her work, Irina Ignatiew is the perfect fit for this position. Furthermore I’d like to thank Bodo Braun for his great work and I wish him great success for his future.”
