Three new cable channels to launch in Israel

Chello Zone is bringing Russian-language versions of Outdoor Channel, Fine Living and JimJam to Israel next month through a deal with cable provider HOT.

Russian-language versions of the Outdoor Channel, Fine Living and preschool network Jim Jam will begin airing in Israel next month thanks to a deal between international broadcaster Chello Zone and Israeli cable platform HOT.

The bespoke Russian package will launch in April on HOT, which has more than 880,000 subscribers and broadcasts three other Chello Zone channels: Zone Reality, Extreme Sports Channel and Zone Romantica.

A joint venture between Chello Zone, Outdoor Channel and ARA Amigos Ireland Ltd., Outdoor Channel’s slate includes Monster Fish, Adventures Abroad and Savage Wild. Lifestyle net Fine Living is owned by Scripps Networks Interactive and airs programs such as aromatherapy series Everybody Nose, Yoga For Life and The Sweet Truth. Available in more than 60 territories, JimJam is a preschool network that airs series such as Barney & Friends.
