Babyfoot, Aito Media bring “Like Me” to Cannes

Danish prodco Babyfoot and Finnish company Aito Media have coproduced the cross media reality show Like Me, which is set to launch at MIPTV.

Danish prodco Babyfoot and Finnish company Aito Media have coproduced the cross media reality show Like Me, which is set to launch at MIPTV.

The stripped reality format,  developed by both parties, sees a cast compete against each other from their own homes, captured on webcams and using social media.

“Aito has a unique take on TV which appeals to the Babyfoot enthusiasm for fun, daring, talked about TV. Like Me combines new forms of close storytelling and fun competition with social media,” said Babyfoot’s MD and executive producer David Sidebotham.

Babyfoot is the company behind formats Gay Army, Bingo Banko, and the reality format Big In Japan, which ran for two seasons on U.S. network ABC as I Survived A Japanese Game Show; while Aito Media has produced formats such as Night Patrol and Undercover Massage.
